- I'm a children's book author and my debut picture book, "Tonight You Are My Baby" (HarperCollins Children's Books), was released in Fall 2008. In this blog, I hope to share writing tips and helpful information that I have learned on my journey from an aspiring writer to a published author. Book Description: On Christmas night, Mary holds Jesus and speaks of the power of a mother's love for her baby. This Christmas picture book is an intimate portrayal of the Nativity infused with a mother's boundless love.
